It is important that we keep our church clean during the holiday period. If your holiday clashes when you should be cleaning, please arrange to change with someone else or just turn up when you can.

Please note that it is Group 1 for Thursday, 28th January. Thank you.

Frosty wind was blowing but I must congratulate the church cleaners who turned up on Thursday to clean the church. What wonderful people you are! Please consult the newsletter to find out when your group is on duty.

Our thanks to those who clean our church every week and to Dyllis who is looking after the Sacristy. There are so many people who should be included such as choir, altar servers, readers, lay ministers and so many others. I am also grateful to the staff in the Presbytery who maintain a lovely atmosphere no matter what pressures they are under (especially from me!).

BIG CLEAN THIS WEDNESDAY, 23RD DECEMBER AFTER THE 9.00AM MASS FOR GROUPS 1 & 2.
(20 people between the two groups) plus anyone else with half an hour to spare. If you have a light hoover, please bring it with you. Sister Teresa.

Sorry, Group 7 should have done church cleaning this week - although Group 1 was in the Newsletter! If you belong to Group 1 or 7 and didn't turn up this week perhaps you would come along next week - 17th December. Sorry for the confusion.

have done wonderful work on the front gardens. I am ever so grateful. Please thank them. I try to keep abreast with my patch at the back but I haven't a hope!

Please keep the inside doors (i.e. the swing doors) closed at all times, even before Mass begins. I spent an hour and a half last Sunday heating the church but it took just five minutes with the doors open to cool the whole place down! Fr. John.
