A new informative/educational programme on the Catholic faith begins on Thursday, 24th June at 8.00pm in the Van Meenen Room. This is an offshoot of the Spirituality evening and it seeks to share faith in a brand new way. Its perspective sheds light on salvation history as a love story and it will go right back to the basics. If you have a few nagging questions on faith, life, destiny and society, then you are welcome.

Is an excellent little book for a Lenten journey of prayer for 2010. It is on sale in the porch for just£1.00. I have given a copy to those intending to join the Catholic Church at Easter and I told them parishioners will be joining them in prayers during Lent.

The Diocesan for Justice and Social Responsibility will be holding a training day for people who would like to promote marriage and family life in our parish. If you would like to be involved in this important work, there is a training day at Wanstead on 16th January 2010. Please contact Fr. John.
